Editorial Calendars & Content Management

Content is everywhere, and the last thing a brand wants is to be part of the noise. To avoid that pitfall, content strategy and leadership has to be a blend of artistic creativity and scientific precision.
The ‘precision’ part comes from organizing execution, so that messages aren’t stepping on top of each other and everything feels connected for the end-user. Whether it’s email content, social media, full-scale product launches, or direct calls to action, everything has to be in-synch.
When I lead content, graphic, and UX teams, I start from the orchestration. Building a single source of truth for everyone to work from creates instant efficiencies and allows large-scale teams to make connections across content and work.

Over the years, I’ve led editorial teams through:
- Agile processes (acting as Scrum master and leveraging digital kanban workspaces)
- Editorial tracking tools like Asana, Airtable, JIRA, and Trello
- Centralized brand portal development
- Annual and quarterly “newsroom” workshops
- Design Thinking & journey mapping
- In-person and digital whiteboarding sessions (Mural)
